hi Kirsty,
Kevan Meldrum here.
Spoke to your dad earlier today and he told me about your works. Love it. Have passed the link on to Sarah and Rachel who are both interested.
Dad is very proud.
Keep up the good work.
Will make contact when next in Melbourne
Hi Kevan,
Great to hear from you.
Glad you liked the blog. Was really great to get to hang with dad for a bit. Was really busy while he was here which was a pity but at least he got to see ‘real life’!
Let us know when you are in town.

I love your work Kirsty. Have you thought about writing a book with templates/instructions? – great for community projects – large scale version too please?
Thanks for your comment and really glad you like my work. (Has been a slow year in the studio but am hoping 2014 will be more productive!)
With the templates etc, most of the pieces are really intricate and slow to construct so instructions would be really laborious. I have got one downloadable piece: https://kirstylovescardboard.com/2012/03/27/elephant-mobile/
Hi Rita, Sorry – I haven’t seen your email. Your proposal sounds really interesting however I may not be able to be involved depending on dates etc. |Can you resend the email to k_f@australia.edu?
I live in Las Vegas, NV in the U.S. and I program galleries for the City of Las Vegas. It is a non-profit gallery and we show work for educational purposes only. I would love to exhibit your cars in a show about cardboard…its called “Outside the Box” and it is in June 14th through August 30th….I am sure that shipping those here would not cost so much as to not be able to pay for it to be shipping round trip. I tried both emails for you and could not get the email to go through…Thanks!
I am not sure how old this message is. I am so sorry that I did not get your email. I have just had 2 kids and so have not had much time to keep an eye on messages.
My best email is: k-flea@iinet.net.au
Thank you very much for the interest.
Are you talking about my work ‘Heading home (for Mum’s birthday)’ ? https://kirstylovescardboard.com/2010/07/21/heading-home-for-mum%e2%80%99s-birthday/
The car itself is quite small (just bigger than my hand) however the work is mounted on an A1 cardboard base (600 x 850cm / 23 x 31 inches). The base is important as it shows how empty and vast the landscape was during our trip to Darwin. With the base, I am sorry to say, I think it’d be difficult and expensive to ship.
Apologies for the delayed response.
Kind regards
Kirsty Fletcher

Hi Kirsty,
My name is Rita and I have contacted you via email 2 weeks ago about a windows display project I’m working on for a council gallery in Melbourne.
Not sure if you’ve got the email, but I’m still wondering if you are interested participating. If you need more information, feel free to email me.
Kind Regards,
Rita Tse

No worries, Kirsty. Sometimes these things happen.
I just forwarded you the original message with some additional info about the project. Let me know what you think.
Best,
Rita
